     Having a background in Small Business Management, by completing The Entreneurship in Action Certificate Program, I have a clear understanding of customer's expectations and when those expectations are met, it not only becomes a positive experience for the customer, but in turn, brings goodwill to the business. I not only want to meet your expectations, but exceed them. It is my goal to create a cake for you that is "More Fab Than the Usual Slab"

     

     From an early age I enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, experimenting with recipes and making various food creations. My passion for baking continued to develop after I started creating birthday cakes for my children. Wanting to perfect my cake decorating skills, I enrolled in my first cake decorating course and fell in love with the "Art of Cake" and from there decided to open a custom cake business.

     

     Charismatic Cakes by Jenn began operation in June of 2010, creating custom cakes and cupcakes for its customers and soon expanded its line to sell cake pops, cookies and edible edible bouquets as well. Charismatic Cakes by Jenn has been featured in various television programs, including Rogers Daytime, an episode of HGTV's Income Property and also commisioned a cake for use in a commercial for Champix. In the fall of 2014, Charismatic Cakes by Jenn launched its "Party Platter" menu, as a light catering solution for its customers' gatherings.

In 2015 Charismatic Cakes by Jenn launched its first store front at 282 King St. W, in Oshawa where it operated until it moved to 1413 King St E. in Courtice in 2017. The storefront locations also offered a full line of cake decorating supplies and ingredients and various classes were taught and decorating parties were hosted.

 

In 2019 the decision was made to return Charismatic Cakes by Jenn to its original operations at 78 Meadowglade Road in Courtice and focus on preordered custom baked creations and light catering. At Charismatic Cakes by Jenn you will find a separate commercial kitchen space with a design and consultation room. We are regularly inspected by Health Department who is responsible for issuing a green pass for any food establishment, allowing them to operate.
